Ying Quartet at Wolf Trap Barns

Think of Robert Schumann and the first thing that comes to mind is not string quartets. The three he wrote have lingered in the shadow of a mountain of his splendidly introspective, sometimes indulgent lieder and piano pieces and, for the most part, nobody much has missed them. Maybe, following the recording the Ying Quartet has just completed of the three, this will change.
